Wednesday's draw will not only see the CCL group stages drawn but also the playoff round of the CCC where dropouts from the top-tier competition will face those in the second-tier tournament for a spot in the group stages.
There is a chance that Wits, who fell from the CCL, could face SuperSport United – who won their CCC game – in an all-South African tie for a spot in the groups, with both teams going into the hat.
Last year Morocco's FUS Rabat and MAS Fez went head-to-head at this stage after the former dropped out of the CCL, but the South African sides will no doubt be eager to avoid each other.
There hasn't been a time stated for the draw, only that it will happen in Cairo on Wednesday.
