The Brazilians secured a 1-0 win over Wydad Athletic Club in the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League, with Masandawana now set to jet off to Morocco today, September 18, where they will begin preparations for the second leg.

Should Masandawana progress through to the semi-finals of the competition, indications are that the Brazilians could look to remain in the northern regions of Africa, so as to avoid the long travelling hours, pending the fixtures for the semi-finals of the competition.

The Brazilians had Khama Billiat, Anthony Laffor and George Lebese ruled out of their first leg quarter-final clash against Wydad Athletic club and it remains to be seen whether the trio will be fit enough in time to be available for selection when Sundowns face the Moroccans on Saturday, September 23.

Sundowns are set to leave for Morocco this evening, September 18.
