Mamelodi Sundowns will head to Rwanda next month in search of a spot in the CAF Champions League group stages for the third consecutive year.
The 2016 CCL winners received a bye for the preliminary round of qualifiers due to their impressive performance in CAF tournaments over the past couple of years, so their clash with Rwandan champions, Rayon Sports, will be their first tie of 2018 on the continent.

Rayon beat LLB Académic FC of Burundi in the last round to secure their encounter with Masandawana, with Hussein Shabani scoring a goal in each leg to give them a 2-1 aggregate victory.
Whichever team emerges victorious between Sundowns and Rayon will proceed into the CCL group stages, while the loser will drop into the play-off round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The first leg - Kigali - is due to be played on either the 6th or 7th of March, before the second leg takes place between the 16th and 18th in Tshwane.
