Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has named his squad to face Congo in back-to-back 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, including Orlando Pirates defender Thabiso Sesane.
Bafana are in second place on four points in group K of the qualifiers, after playing out to a 2-2 draw with Uganda and then registering a late 3-2 victory over South Sudan last month.

Congo, who are in third place on three points, will provide a big test for Broos' men, but it's a good chance for Bafana to secure points to enhance their chances of qualifying for the competition set to take place in Morocco.
Siyabonga Ngezana is not in the squad for the clash and Broos has brought in Pirates defender Sesane, who has been in fine form at the back for the Soweto giants. Sesane has been playing alongside Olisa Ndah in the Bucs defence and has grown in confidence, showing a lot of composure in a number of situations he has faced.
Thalente Mbatha has been included again in the squad after proving to be the hero in both of the matches against Uganda and South Sudan, with last minute goals.
