Bafana Bafana will be traveling away to Uganda before facing South Sudan on home soil as they look to qualify for the continental showpiece for a second time in a row.
Ahead of the crucial clashes, the Belgian mentor has named a 38-man squad, which is expected to be trimmed down to 23 in the coming weeks.
The likes of Sage Stephens, Ashley Cupido and Devin Titus have been rewarded their performances for Stellenbosch, while the Polokwane City duo of Thabang Matuludi and Ndamulelo Maphangule also feature.
There were returns for vice-captain Percy Tau and USA-based Bongokhuhle Hlongwane after a sustained absence from the national team.
