Bafana Bafana need to avoid defeat against Sudan away from home on Sunday if they are to qualify for the 2022 African Cup of Nations.
The match gets underway at 18h00.
Molefi Ntseki's charges came from behind to draw 1-1 with Ghana at the FNB stadium on Thursday, with qualification now going down to the final matches in the group.
With only the top two teams qualifying, the Black Stars have already secured their place in the showpiece ahead of their final game São Tomé and Príncipe at home.
That leaves Bafana and Sudan fighting for the final place and South Africa head into the clash with a one-point advantage over their opponents.
Sudan though beat São Tomé and Príncipe 4-0 on Thursday and are notorious for being a tough nation to play in their own country.
Bafana suffered an injury blow with experienced midfielder Andile Jali ruled out with groin injury, while Percy Tau, Bafana's goalscorer against Ghana, did travel with the team.
Update: The SABC have confirmed they will not be broadcasting Bafana's match against Sudan.
The SABC can confirm that the public service broadcaster couldn't secure the broadcasting rights of the match between the Bafana and Sudan due to the exorbitant costs and as a result this match will not be aired on any of the SABC platforms. pic.twitter.com/ypuC7qwaVv
