Les Bleus defeated Die Mannschaft 1-0 in their Group F opener on Tuesday, with Pogba being awarded the Man of the Match prize following an impactful display at the Allianz Arena.
Pogba, 28, was involved in a number of outstanding moments with the ball at his feet in that match, but there was one off-the-ball incident that got fans talking.
The Manchester United midfielder appeared to receive a bite in the back from Chelsea centre-back Rudiger in the first half of the Euro 2020 encounter, actions that have since earned the Germany defender comparisons to Luis Suarez.

Speaking after the game, Pogba insisted he did not want to see his "friend" punished, saying: "I felt it, I told the referee, he takes the decisions and he took the decision. He hasn't received any card and I think it's better like this. I don't want him to be suspended because of this."
Now, according to The Guardian, European football's governing body UEFA has decided it will not punish the Germany international for the incident.
Rudiger also addressed his actions after his team's loss, admitting he should not have had his mouth as close as he did to Pogba's back and adding that he and the France star discussed what happened after the final whistle.
