Portugal announced their 23-man squad for the 2016 European Championship on Tuesday night, with Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo once again set to lead his country into battle.

The team selected has a host of experience, with the likes of Ricardo Carvalho, Pepe and Jose Fonte all making the squad that will compete in France next month.
Highly rated youngster Renato Sanches, who completed his move from Benfica to Bayern Munich earlier this month, has also been included in the side.
Portugal have been drawn in Group F alongside Iceland, Austria and Hungary.
