The Bayern Munich striker has scored 15 goals in 16 Bundesliga appearances this campaign, with his latest strike against Cologne being a historical goal.
Overall, Lewandowski has now scored 166 times in the German top flight, equalling Cologne legend Hannes Lohr's tally.
In the Bundesliga all-time ranking, the Poland international now sits in joint-10th place, but would need to score another 200 goals to become the league's top goalscorer ever.
Of his 166 goals, 92 of them came in Bayern colours, while he netted his first 74 for Borussia Dortmund. Lewandowski is one of only two active players among the 10 record scorers in Germany, the other being Claudio Pizarro on 191 goals.
At the top of the ranking is Bayern Munich legend Gerd Muller with 365 Bundesliga goals in just 427 appearances. The legendary Germany striker also has the best strike rate in the league's history after scoring one goal every 105 minutes.
