Pique Won't Apologise For Mocking Real

Barcelona centre-back Gerard Pique doesn't think he needs to apologise for seemingly mocking Real Madrid and Alvaro Arbeloa on twitter. Read: Messi: I Could've Joined Another Club A tweet from Pique earlier this month seemed to make fun of Los Blancos after their expulsion from the Copa del Rey for fielding an ineligible player. A war of words broke out between himself and Spain teammate Alvaro Arbeloa, which saw Pique calling him "an acquaintance". "That's not a question about sport," he said playfully when asked about the spat. "Look, I said (Arbeloa) wasn't a friend. Make of it what you want. I don't have anything to add. "There has been a lot of fuss about my tweets but feel free to interpret how you want." Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos came to Arbeloa's defence on social media and told Pique to show respect. Pique added: "The role of Sergio Ramos is normal for a captain. He is the Real Madrid captain and a great captain. He came out to defend his teammate and I honestly admire him for that."
