Cristiano Ronaldo says returning to Manchester United is the best decision he's made after a dream second debut.
The Portuguese star marked his return for the Red Devils with a brace as they secured a 4-1 win over Newcastle United at a packed Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has since stressed the importance of helping the Manchester outfit reclaim its glory days, having now gone four seasons without a trophy.
"I want to make history, help Manchester to have great results and win trophies."
Ronaldo has reunited with Raphael Varane in Manchester after the pair enjoyed great success together at Real Madrid, and the Frenchman is glad to have the forward back on his side.
"To play with the best is a great pleasure. Cristiano is a great professional, physically he's always at his best, he always has that finishing quality," Varane said.
"What he will bring to this team is his will to win, his winning mentality."
