Bafana need to win convincingly against Ghana tonight, and hope that Senegal beat Algeria in another Group C tie, if Shakes Mashaba's side is to advance to the next stage of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.
"As we all know, Bafana needs Senegal to win against Algeria in order to make qualifications a lot less complicated. Therefore I wish both South Africa and Senegal all the best tonight as they are both close to my heart," Niang told the club's official website.
Niang's club teammate, Bryce Moon, says Bafana need to convert the chances they create into goals.
"The boys have played very well in the last two matches and only need to convert their chances. The good thing is that chances are being created and that gives us South Africans hope," Moon told sundownsfc.co.za.

"I'm very proud of the boys because they have shown commitment and fighting spirit that resonates with every South African. This is a young squad which means the future is very bright. Boys go out there and make us proud, we are behind you all the way," Sundowns midfielder Hlompho Kekana said to Bafana.
