Ramos Speaks After Spain World Cup Snub
RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku will play no part in the tournament in the Middle East after he picked up an injury on the training ground on Tuesday.
Following a tackle from Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, the Bundesliga star was seen going down and immediately appearing in pain, with the France Football Federation confirming that the 25-year-old has been ruled out of the spectacle in Qatar as a result of the challenge.
It is suggested that Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani, who has been capped twice for Les Bleus, is likely to replace Nkunku in the squad in the coming days.
The 23-year-old was first called up to the France national side in September this year, appearing in matches against Austria and Denmark.
Muani has played 23 games this season so far for Frankfurt, contributing to an impressive 19 goals in all competitions.
