According to L'Equipe, Borussia Monchengladbach's in-form striker Marcus Thuram has received a last-minute call-up to the French national side for the tournament in the Middle East.
Deschamps had initially called up just 25 players when he named his selection last week, with one spot left open ahead of Monday's deadline for squad submissions.
Thuram, son of former France international, Lilian Thuram, has been in terrific touch at club level since the season got underway, having contributed to 17 goals in as many matches.
The 25-year-old has been capped on four occasions for Les Bleus since his debut in 2020, making his last appearance for his country in their round of 16 defeat to Switzerland at last year's UEFA European Championship.
Thuram's famous dad is considered one of France's best-ever defenders, after making a staggering 142 appearances for the country between 1994 and 2008.
