Paris Saint-Germain fans have taunted Gerard Pique's wife Shakira ahead of the Ligue 1 giants' crucial UEFA Champions League round of 16 clash against FC Barcelona on Wednesday.
The Catalan giants need to produce a massive comeback in the tie after losing the first leg at the Camp Nou 4-1.
However, should they be successful in doing so, it would not be the first time they overturned a major first-leg deficit against the French side, having overcome a 4-0 away defeat with their famous 6-1 win at the Camp Nou in the 2016/17 campaign.
Ahead of the second leg on Wednesday night, PSG ultras are seemingly creating a hostile atmosphere in Paris, lighting flares and unveiling several insulting banners.
One of the banners was aimed at defender Pique's wife Shakira, even though the veteran Barca star will miss the match due to injury.
"Shakira to La Jonquera," the banner read, suggesting that the Barca star's wife must go back to the brothels near Girona, which are often visited by men from France, according to Marca.
Another banner read "Barcelona aren't welcome", with the relationship between the two clubs clearly not the healthiest at the moment.
The Blaugrana have appeared in 13 successive Champions League quarter-finals – a competition record. The last time they failed to reach the last eight of Europe's elite club competition was in the 2006/07 campaign.
They did stage an impressive comeback in the Copa del Rey last week, though, overcoming a 2-0 first-leg defeat at Sevilla by beating them 3-0 after extra-time in the second leg.
