UEFA Champions League

Teams: Manchester United vs Sevilla

Date: 13 March 2018

Venue: Old Trafford

Time: 9.45pm

The Red Devils beat both Premier League top four rivals 2-1 at home recently, and have also won all four of their Champions League group stage games at Old Trafford this campaign.

However, United have only beaten Spanish opposition twice in their past 12 encounters with them, losing five and drawing five.

Jose Mourinho's side have progressed 11 out of 15 times after drawing the first leg away from home, including six out of nine ties that ended 0-0 in the first leg.

Sevilla, meanwhile, have lost all three of their previous last 16 Champions League clashes, being eliminated 3-2 on aggregate by Leicester City last season.

The LaLiga side has struggled in big clashes this season, having lost all contests against the top four in the Spanish top flight in 2017/18, including a recent 5-2 defeat to Atletico Madrid and a 2-0 loss to Valencia on the weekend.

Sevilla are also still winless in six trips to English opposition, and did not win any of their away matches in this season's Champions League group stage, where they finished second behind Liverpool.

Jose Mourinho has won seven of his nine clashes against Sevilla, and will hope to improve on this impressive personal record too.
