Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi could face each other in the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League, but both Juventus and FC Barcelona need to overcome tough quarter-final opponents first after today's draw.

Four teams have already booked their ticket for the quarter-final stage, while four Round-of-16 second legs still need to be played.
Paris Saint-Germain, who have been without football since mid-March, as well as Atletico Madrid, who knocked out defending champions Liverpool, while RB Leipzig and Atalanta have also already secured their spot among the last eight.
Meanwhile, the second legs between Bayern Munich vs Chelsea (first leg: 3-0), FC Barcelona vs Napoli (first leg: 1-1), Juventus vs Olympique Lyon (first leg: 0-1) and Manchester City vs Real Madrid (first leg: 2-1) still need to be played.

These games will take place on 7 and 8 August, with the home side playing at their respective stadium. However, the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final will all be played as a straight knockout tournament (without second legs) in Lisbon in August.
The quarter-final dates are 12 to 15 August, while the semi-finals will be played on 18 and 19 August, with the final taking place on 23 August.

Ronaldo's Juventus could set up a quarter-final with his former side Real Madrid, if the latter can overcome Man City and Juve make it past Lyon in their last-16 second legs.
Messi's Barcelona, meanwhile, need to get past Napoli in the Round of 16 before facing the winner of Bayern and Chelsea.
Only if both Juve and Barca make it to the semi-final stage, Ronaldo and Messi could face each other.
