UEFA Champions League
Result: Bayern Munich 4-0 Olympiakos
Date: 24 November 2015
Venue: Allianz Arena
Bayern Munich proved to be too strong for Olympiakos, as they romped to a 4-0 win at the Allianz Arena.
Pep Guardiola's men opened the scoring after just eight minutes, as Douglas Costa fired home from close range after Roberto had saved an earlier effort.
It got better for the German champions in the 16th minute when Robert Lewandowski collected a pass from Kingsley Coman, before calmly slotting past Roberto from the edge of the area.
Bayern added a third goal four minutes later. Robben whipped in a fine cross from the right flank and Thomas Muller was on hand to fire past Roberto.
Despite dominating for most of the half, the home side were then dealt a blow in the 33rd minute, as Robben fell awkwardly and had to be replaced.
The second half got off to poor start for Bayern, as Holger Badstuber was shown a straight red card for a challenge on Brown Ideye, who was through on goal.
Despite going a man down, Bayern added a fourth goal in the 70th minute with Kingsley Coman registering his name on the score-sheet with a brave header from close range.
Muller could have added a second for himself and a fifth for Bayern but Roberto was on hand to deny the German forward, much to the frustration of Guardiola.
Nonetheless, the score remained 4-0 at the full-time whistle, as Bayern maintain top spot, while the Greek outfit remain in second spot despite loss.
Olympiakos can secure their spot in the knockout round if they avoid defeat against Arsenal in their final group game.
