The Brazilian was asked about the prospect of Angel di Maria joining PSG next season, saying that the Argentine was more important than Ronaldo in last season's Champions League campaign for Real.
"He's a great player," he told ESPN.
"Di Maria did not win the Champions League alone for Real Madrid against Atletico Madrid last season, but I think he did more than Cristiano Ronaldo to win it.
"Di Maria was amazing to the final."
David Luiz, the French club's other centre-back, would also welcome Di Maria at the club, saying his arrival would be great.
"If Di Maria wants to come to PSG that would be great," he said, according to the Telegraph.
"This is a very good player."
Di Maria has been heavily linked with Laurent Blanc's side, after he has been out-of-favour at Manchester United.
