Monaco forward Mbappe became the youngest player to score two goals in a Champions League knockout game during his side's 3-2 win over Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday, but there have been plenty more starlets who made waves in the competition over the seasons.
Former FC Barcelona attacker Bojan Krkic is among the youngest players ever to score in the UCL, as is Real Madrid's long-serving striker Karim Benzema.
The Frenchman scored his first goal in the competition when he was just 17 years 11 months and 17 days, and has 55 UCL strikes to his name today.
Former Cosmos player Nii Odartey Lamptey is the youngest player to ever score in the competition, and he is followed by another African in second place – Peter Ofori-Quaye.
Names such as Cesc Fabregas, Aaron Ramsey and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are also among the 10 youngest UCL scorers ever.
