Having been found guilty of rape in Italy, the country's authorities want former Manchester City and Real Madrid star Robinho to serve his prison sentence in his homeland.

Earlier this month, the southern European country issued an international arrest warrant for the former attacker after the nation's high court upheld his conviction for rape.
Robinho and five other Brazilians were found guilty of rape in 2017, and following lengthy appeals proceedings, saw the verdict being upheld six years later.
As per Goal, the former wonderkid is now facing a nine-year prison term, a sentence the Italian authorities want him to serve in his native Brazil.
Robinho stays in the South American nation and its ministry have acknowledged a receipt of the request from Italy in a statement released, but did not outright name the former AC Milan striker in it.
Brazil do not extradite their nationals, which means the 39-year-old can only be arrested if makes his way out of his home nation.
The same report states that the Brazil justice ministry's department of asset repatriation and international legal co-operation will now analyse the request before they take the next steps.
