After being drawn against Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has labelled Pep Guardiola as the best manager in the world.
The 13-time European champions will do battle against the Citizens in the Last 16 in February next year following last week's draw.
Zidane has only faced off against Guardiola in a pre-eseason encounter as a manager, but the Frenchman had high praise for the former FC Barcelona mentor.
"It will be special to play against him," Zidane told reporters from Marca in his pre-match press conference for this weekend's clash with Athletic Bilbao.
"I played many times against him as a player, and I respect him as a player and as a coach."
"For me, he is the best manager in the world."
"He has proven that throughout his career, and I am looking forward to facing him and Manchester City."
