With Lionel Messi having been linked with two clubs in Saudi Arabia, here is the latest on the Argentine's future at Paris Saint-Germain amid rumours he could join Cristiano Ronaldo in the Middle East.
Messi 'Wanted' By Second Club In Saudi Arabia
The seven-time Ballon d'Or winner's future has been an interesting talking point in recent weeks, after it was suggested that both Al Hilal and Al Ittihad were considering a move for his signature.
Messi has just a few months remaining on his contract in Paris, with MLS side Inter Miami, co-owned by Manchester United legend David Beckham, also believed to want to sign him when he leaves PSG.
According to Argentine journalist Gaston Edul, however, the former Barcelona captain has reached a verbal agreement with the French giants, and will reportedly sign a new contract with them until the end of the 2023/24 season.
It is said that his future beyond 2024 remains unknown to all parties, including Messi himself, although there is a growing belief the 2022 FIFA World Cup winner could be tempted to take his career to the MLS.
That is, though, if the apparent proposals from the two Saudi clubs are not too difficult to turn down, with it being reported that one offer he has received would see him earn more than what Ronaldo is getting at Al Nassr.
