On Monday, the 38-year-old bagged his first goal of the 2023/24 campaign as his side beat US Monastir in the regional club competition.

The ex-Manchester United and Real Madrid talisman found the back of the net with a trademark header in the 74th minute of the encounter, setting a new record.

According to Telemundo Sports, Ronaldo has now scored more times with his head than any other player in the history of the sport.

His goal against the Tunisian outfit was the 145th successful headed effort of his career, surpassing the previous best of 144 held by legendary German forward Gerd Muller.

Ronaldo and Al Nassr will be in action against Egyptian giants Zamalek on Thursday as supporters wait to find out whether or not new signing Sadio Mane will feature.
