According to DiarioGol, the Argentine has become frustrated with Portuguese midfielder Andre Gomes at the Blaugrana, as he feels that Denis Suarez and Rafinha are both capable of playing the same role as his in the team.
The report claims that Gerard Pique and Iniesta are in the same boat as Messi, as they also believe Gomes does not deserve a place in the first side.
The 2016 European Championship winner has reportedly lost the confidence of most of the senior players in the dressing room.
Despite the players' concerns, however, it is believed that Luis Enrique remains a big fan of Gomes, who he is likely to keep his faith in.
The player was signed at the start of the season from Valencia for around €35 million (R500m), and after 27 matches, the 23-year-old has just contributed with two assists.

Denis Suarez has scored three goals and assisted three more in 27 games this campaign, while Rafinha has found the net on six occasions and set-up four strikes in 20 matches.
