The Paris Saint-Germain forward was speaking to the press ahead of Brazil's friendly against Senegal when he was asked if he thinks he receives different treatment from his national teammates.
"I've been in the national team for 10 years," Neymar said, as reported by Marca.
"I've always been one of the most important players and one of the ones who pulled the car the most, I never hid, I always did well with the national team. When a player has this performance, it is normal to have a different treatment.

"In Barcelona, Messi (also) receives different treatment. Does he have it for being more handsome? No, it's because of what he has done.
"And I say this not only for me, but for all the players that reach this level. It's normal in football."
