It's been a strange week in football as Gareth Bale and Mesut Ozil have already seen the details of their transfer documents leaked by a website called Football Leaks.
And now the details of one of the game's biggest superstars' contract have reportedly leaked by Spanish publication ARA.
The Argentine apparently earns a salary of €22.8 million (R407 million), a figure that will jump to €39.4 million (R704 million) after this season, thanks to a clause in his latest deal.
His €250 million (R4.46 billion) buyout clause was also confirmed in the leaked document.
ARA further claimed that, in the event Barcelona decides to sell Messi before his pay rise kicks in, the 28-year-old is due an automatic compensation of €19.94 million (R356 million).
