The Portuguese scored his side's opener within the first three minutes of the first leg of the quarter-final tie – his fastest ever goal in the UEFA Champions League.
It was his second strike that stole the headlines, however, when scored with an outstanding bicycle kick from a Dani Carvajal cross.
The 33-year-old's superb goal even had Juventus fans on their feet, applauding the player they had whistled at just minutes earlier.
Ronaldo himself seemed surprised by the reaction of the home crowd and acknowledged the standing ovation from the Juve fans by thanking them with a gesture, putting his hands together before bowing his head down and giving them a thumbs-up.
In doing so, the Los Blancos talisman followed in the footsteps of greats such as Diego Maradona and Ronaldinho, who both received standing ovations from Real's home crowd for their outstanding displays in El Clasicos in 1983 and 2005, respectively.
