Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has commented on his spectacular overhead kick as well as the standing ovation he received from the Juventus crowd in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.

The Portugal international put on a memorable display at the Allianz Stadium as he scored twice to inspire a 3-0 victory against the Serie A giants, which was the Spanish side's first win over the Bianconeri in Italy since 1962.
After the match, Ronaldo reflected on the jaw-dropping wonder goal he scored in the 64th minute, and admitted that he did not expect the strike (watch it again here) to beat Juve goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.
"(It was a) great goal. What can I say? Fantastic," Ronaldo said, as quoted by FourFourTwo.
"I didn't expect to score that goal but let's speak about the game. I think the game was amazing. And we scored three goals against Juve – a great team.
"We played nice and, of course, I'm happy I helped the team, I scored two goals – (it was) a great night."
The 33-year-old also commented on receiving a standing ovation from the home crowd, something that had never happened to him before.
"It was an unbelievable moment," he told UEFA.com.
"I have to say thank you, grazie, to all the supporters of Juventus. What they did for me was amazing.
"This has never happened in my career so far but I'm so happy."
