In an interview with TyC Sports, the Paris Saint-Germain winger was asked to name the five best footballers he has played alongside in his glittering career to date.
Having represented Benfica, Real Madrid, Manchester United and PSG, the left-footed forward has played with some high-profile players, and did not hesitate to name his top five best teammates when asked to recently, and, more interestingly, in order.
In his star-studded ranking, Di Maria listed his current club colleague Marco Verratti, saying the Italian central midfielder is, for him, "the top of the top".
Also featuring in his list is his ex-PSG teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic, with the Albiceleste star saying he was surprised that the Swede was able to do certain things with the ball given his height.
Di Maria left out both Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo, and even went as far as to explain why he did not name the Portuguese in his ranking, saying: "I can put (him in) for you, but he is a player who needs spaces (to be effective)."
