According to Sport, the Brazilian centre back had to separate his two teammates in the changing room after their 2-0 win over Lyon this past weekend following their disagreements during the league encounter.
The pair appeared to argue more than once over who would be talking a penalty and free-kicks, even though the Uruguayan has been the club's principal set-piece taker since Zlatan Ibrahimovic's exit from the Parc des Princes last year.
The on-field tension between Cavani and Neymar was clear for everyone to see, and even manager Unai Emery later insisted that the two attackers needed to sort things out themselves.
