With Angel Di Maria's family home having been burgled while the Paris Saint-Germain superstar was playing in a match on the weekend, what was taken from the player's house has now reportedly been revealed.
On Sunday evening, the Argentine's home was broken into by intruders during PSG's Ligue 1 loss to Nantes, according to reports in France.
After receiving word of what happened, Les Parisiens manager Mauricio Pochettino took Di Maria off earlier than he perhaps planned to, with the winger heading straight down the tunnel.
French publication RMC has now reported that the burglars entered the player's house through his gym in the basement, then took an elevator to the second floor before escaping with a safe.
It has since been claimed that more than €500 000 (R8.8 million) worth of watches and jewellery was taken during the robbery, during which his family was present.
It is reported that Di Maria's wife and two daughters did not see the thieves in the house, but were said to be shocked by the break-in.
