The recent turmoil between Neymar and Edinson Cavani has now reportedly created divides inside the Paris Saint-Germain dressing room.
Reports: Neymar Still Angry With Cavani Over Penalty Row
The Uruguay and Brazil international were seen arguing over a penalty kick in the Parisians' 2-0 victory over Lyon two week's ago, and it apparently caused club captain Thiago Silva having to separate the two in the change room.
According to Spanish publication Sport, the rift between the two forwards has split the dressing room, and there are reportedly a few PSG stalwarts that have not been happy with the purchase of Neymar and are aware that the club may need to get rid of a few players due to his enormous transfer.
The arrival of the 25-year-old may force the Ligue 1 leaders to sell the likes of Angel Di Maria, Javier Pastore, Lucas Moura, Julian Draxler, Hatem Ben Arfa next season, in order for the French club to generate income and stay clear of any FIFA Fair Play sanctions.
Reports: PSG Owner Offers Cavani €1m To Let Neymar Take Penalties
Despite all the controversy, Neymar has hit the ground running since his arrival in Paris, having scored five goals and assisted in a further five more in six appearances.
