Midfielder Marco Verratti apologised for his agent's comments about him wanting a move to FC Barcelona but it has been reported that he was forced to issue that statement.
Verratti Releases Statement After His Agent's Comments
A L'Equipe journalist has claimed that the Italian's saga is not over yet, as he feels the player might have been pressurised into apologising for his representatives' recent outburst.
His agent, Donato Di Campli, seems to insist that PSG are forcing his client to stay in France, despite wanting a move to the Catalan club.
Verratti then responded to matters with an apology, which French journalist Antoine Maumon feels might have forced upon by the club.
"Barcelona still want to sign Verratti, and Verratti, despite the video, still wants to sign for Barcelona," he told Cadena SER.
He said the video was something "the president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, forced him to do."
