Paris Saint-Germain Close To R2.8bn Kylian Mbappe Deal?

Crazy new reports suggest that Paris Saint-Germain are nearing a €180 million (R2.8 billion) move for Kylian Mbappe, just a week after signing Neymar in for a world record transfer fee.

Most Expensive XI Of This Season's EPL Transfers

The French giants secured the signing of Neymar for €222 million (R3.46 billion) earlier this month, and according to Sport, they are not done spending.

The Spanish publication claimed that PSG are close to a €180 million (R2.8 billion) move for Monaco's Mbappe, despite reports suggesting the 18-year-old wants a switch to Real Madrid.

FC Barcelona and Manchester City are also said to be interested in the young Frenchman, who scored 26 goals across all competitions for Monaco in the previous campaign.

Reports in Spain have echoed speculation, although there have also been contrary reports suggesting that PSG have decided against spending another hefty figure in this transfer window.

In France, Les Parisien have claimed that both Monaco and PSG have denied the speculation, although the club were said to be heavily interested in the player.
