The Catalan giants have been after the player's signature in recent weeks, with reports claiming they are hitting a brick wall with negotiations.
PSG are believed to be unwilling to let their midfielder leave in this transfer window, although various Spanish publications have claimed several times that Barca are nearing a deal for the player.
It has now been reported that Verratti has decided to skip training at PSG as he is not happy with the club, although Mundo Deportivo has claimed he has not been training with his teammates because of a knock he picked up on international duty.
Other reports have suggested that the Italian will return to training later this week, even though it remains unclear where his future lies.
