Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani has commented on his relationship with teammate Neymar since the infamous penalty debacle.
The Uruguayan and Brazilian fell out when both players wanted to take a spot-kick during PSG's Ligue 1 clash against Lyon a few weeks ago, which the French giants ended up winning 2-0 courtesy of two own goals from their opposition.
In an interview ahead of Les Parisiens' Champions League clash against Anderlecht, the 30-year-old striker was asked if he has patched things up with Neymar.
"The penalty case, that's in the past. These are things that happen in football," Cavani told SFR Sport.
"We must find the solution together and function as a team.
"We need to be a competitive team, but we do not need to be friends. You have to be professional, and afterwards, everyone has their own life."
