Paris Saint-Germain new boy Dani Alves has urged Marco Verratti to snub FC Barcelona and stay with the French giants.
Reports: Neymar Messi Want EPL Star At Barca
The Spanish giants have been heavily linked with the Italian midfielder in the past few months, but things turned a bit sour over the last week when the player's agent came out and criticised PSG for not allowing his client to speak with the La Liga giants.
Verratti has since apologised for his representative's actions and gotten some words of encouragement from Alves, who says he joined the French side to win silverware alongside the 24-year-old.
"I came here to play with him so, if he leaves, what would I do?," Alves said in a press conference, as quoted by Sports Push.
"This is my message to him: I hope he helps us achieve our dream. The more good players we have, the more chances we'll have to achieve it."

Verratti made 43 appearances for Paris side last season and scored three goals, assisting in eight more in all competitions.
