FC Barcelona are reported in advanced talks to sign one of their former stars in the January transfer window.
The Catalan giants have already signed Dani Alves ahead of the January ttranfer window on a free transfer but with Sergio Aguero retiring, coach Xavi Hernandez is looking to bolster the attack.
Spanish publication Sport have revealed that the club are in advance talks to sign Inter Milan forward Alexis Sanchez on loan for the remainder of the season.
Sanchez has made just 10 appearances in Serie A for Inter this season and is keen to regular minutes after slipping down the pecking order under Simone Inzaghi.
The report adds that the deal is aso likely to see Luuk de Jong move in the other direction, but only if Inter can also work out a deal with Sevilla who are De Jong's parent club.
De Jong joined The Catalan outfit from Sevilla on Deadline Day in the last transfer window but has only scored one goal in eight appearances this season.
