Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has once again explained why he decided to quit FC Barcelona in 2012.
Pep: Why We Will Never See Another Messi
The Spaniard enjoyed four successful years with the Catalan giants, following his surprising appointment in 2008.
It was speculated that Guardiola became physically exhausted towards the end of his tenure, which eventually led to the Spaniard taking a sabbatical when he resigned as boss in 2012.
In a recent interview, the former Bayern Munich manager has admitted that he left the Spanish giants due to feeling worn out, and does not regret his decision based on where the club are today.
"I no longer had the strength," Guardiola told TV3.
"I had grown tired of the routine. And I can see where Barcelona are now and I realise that maybe it wasn't such a bad decision."
