The 29-year-old is believed to have fallen out with Valencia manager Marcelino towards the end of the past campaign, which has seemingly led to his exit from the club.
It has been claimed that Neto cost Barca about €26 million (R419 million), with an additional €9 million (R145 million) in potential add-ons included in the deal.

The goalkeeper has become Barca's second signing ahead of the 2019/20 season, after Frenkie de Jong's signature was secured in January this year, with the move becoming official in June.
Neto played 47 times for Valencia in the 2018/19 campaign, keeping 14 clean sheets along the way.
