There has been a tremendous amount of speculation surrounding the Egyptian forward since the beginning of the season.

The Egypt captain is now in the final six months of his existing contract with Liverpool, and with no news of an agreement nearing, it appears he will be leaving Anfield at the end of the season.

This campaign, the 32-year-old has demonstrated that his abilities remain undiminished and that he is still among the best footballers on the planet.

The Nagrig native has scored 21 goals and provided 17 assists in the 28 matches he has played across all competitions. Despite his stellar form, it seems he is eager to pursue a new challenge outside of Europe.

According to TeamTalk, the two-time CAF Men's Player of the Year has decided to make the move to the Saudi Pro League once this season concludes.

Interest from the oil-rich kingdom has been well-documented, with clubs attempting to sign Salah on several occasions since 2022.

Now, it appears they are closer than ever to securing his signature. The same report claims that while it is yet to be confirmed which club he will join, it will likely be one of those controlled by the Public Investment Fund.

The club he ultimately signs for will, however, depend on which of Al Nassr, Al Ahli, Al Hilal, or Al Ittihad have the most available funds.
