French striker Karim Benzema has responded to reports about retiring from professional football at the end of the season.
The 37-year-old currently plies his trade for Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League, although it has not gone too smoothly for the veteran.
There were reports that Benzema went AWOL last season and was linked with a departure in December 2023.

However, the Frenchman has turned things around this season after netting 12 goals in 12 matches for Al-Ittihad, who sit top of the table.
The Ballon d'Or winner has now come out to rubbish claims about hanging up his boots in June.
"No, no. This is the word of someone unknown," the former Real Madrid star told Marca.
"Nonsense. I have no restrictions that prevent me from saying that in two, three, or four years I will stop playing football.
"Thank God, I feel good. My body is fine. I am preparing well, and we will see how I feel each year."
Benzema's current deal with the Saudi Pro League leaders does expire at the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
