Two Africans To Be Banned By FIFA After Snubbing National Team Call-Ups?

Two African Premier League stars could find themselves in hot water and potentially receive bans from FIFA after reportedly faking injuries to snub call-ups to represent their country.

Chelsea's Victor Moses and Watford's Isaac Success, the two players in question, reportedly snubbed the opportunity to represent Nigeria during the recent international break.

"We know the two players had good games and there was no sign of injury on the duo during or after the game," a Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) source told Complete Sports Nigeria.

"It came as a surprise to hear later that Moses was injured and that he would not be available for the game, and Success finished his team's game before claiming injury.

"Honestly, they won't go unpunished if our investigation turns out as we are suspecting.

"In fact, we are considering writing a protest to FIFA if we find out that they connived with their respective clubs to feign injuries and stay away."

Success even posted a picture of his leg strapped up on social media, but the NFF remain suspicious.

According to FIFA rules, both players could be banned for their upcoming club matches if the NFF lodge an official complaint and they are found guilty.

Do you think Moses and Success should be banned if they did, in fact, fake their injuries? Have your say in the comments section below.
