Although Guardiola has not confirmed where he will manage next season, he has announced his intention to coach a team in the Premier League.
According to The Independent, if he does join City, who he has been strongly linked with, he is expected to be heavily active in the summer as he will look to build a team that suits him better than the current Citizens side.
Guardiola will reportedly target Everton's John Stones, and also add new wide players, a central midfielder and a new striker.
It's believed there may also be a few casualties after the Spaniard is appointed, with Wilfried Bony and Eliaquim Mangala likely to leave upon the new manager's arrival.
There has also been speculation that Guardiola will attempt to lure Lionel Messi to the Etihad, which would possibly be the biggest transfer in football history, although it is unlikely the FC Barcelona man would be willing to quit the Catalan giants.
