Manchester United target Antoine Griezmann has reportedly handed in a transfer request at Atletico Madrid.

The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford of late, and recently rated the chances of him joining United as "six out 10".
He also suggested that he is ready to leave Atletico because he wants to win more trophies and new reports claim he has now handed in a transfer request, according to Bleacher Report, who cited Antonio Ruiz, who is understood to be a reliable source in Spain.

Griezmann scored 26 goals and assisted another 12 strikes in 53 appearances for Diego Simeone's side this season.
His contract includes a reported £89 million (R1.5 billion) release clause, and United are reportedly prepared to pay this massive fee.

The forward is reportedly Jose Mourinho's main target for the coming window and Spanish football expert Guillem Balague recently suggested that Griezmann would join United if they qualify for the UEFA Champions League, which they have now done.
