FC Barcelona are reportedly ready to spend around R1.1 billion on a Paris Saint-Germain star who is believed to want to leave the French club.
Confirmed: Bayern Sign Germany International
According to L'Equipe, Italian midfielder Marco Verratti has told his club's sporting director he wants to move on.
The player, who is said to be wanted by the Catalan giants, is also reportedly on Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti's wish list.
Barca are apparently willing to spend about €80 million (R1.1 billion) on the player, although PSG are said to want to keep their star midfielder.
Verratti's current contract with the French giants expires in 2021 only, but a mammoth transfer fee might just tempt the club to allow the player to leave.
