According to Mundo Deportivo, the Brazilian is the next star being chased by Chinese clubs, with one team reportedly offering him €12 million a year (R216 million).
A few other top players have moved to the Asian country in recent weeks, including Jackson Martinez, Ramires and Gervinho.
The report claimed the offer will only stand until 26 February, when the Chinese transfer window officially closes.
Alves' agent has reportedly been in contact with the unnamed club, but Barca are yet to receive an official offer.
It is believed the Blaugrana will take the bid into consideration, although losing Alves before the end of the season would be far from ideal.
