The world's highest paid player, Carlos Tevez, is reportedly seeking an exit from the Chinese Super League – find out why here.
12 World Stars Who Have Never Played In EPL
The former Juventus star joined Shanghai Shenhua in China's top division three months ago, but speculation has it that the player is already intent on heading back home.
According to Argentina publication Olé, Tevez is struggling to adjust to life in the Far East, despite reports that he is the world's highest paid player.
It has been claimed that the former Manchester City striker has also had a fallout with manager Gustavo Poyet, and while the boss denies those rumours, it is still believed that Tevez's future at the club hangs in the balance.
The forward will apparently have to pay his Chinese club €6.5 million (R89 million) in compensation if he does leave, which will make up for 60% of what Shanghai Shenhua spent to lure him away from Boca Juniors.
