Reports: Arsenal Target 5 Stars In R2.5bn Overhaul
According to the Daily Mirror, the London side is looking to offload Jack Wilshere, Wojciech Szczesny, Joel Campbell, David Ospina and Kieran Gibbs.
The Gunners are hoping to add new faces to the squad in the next window, but, before that, they need to free up some funds and the five names above are said to the first batch of the clearout.
Arsene Wenger's future was sorted out this week, with the Frenchman having signed a new two-year deal at the Emirates, and many feel the club can now start focusing on the transfer window.
Wilshere and Ospina look like they're going to be the club's two biggest departures, which comes as no real surprise for many supporters. The English midfielder was sent out on loan to Bournemouth to get more game time this season, but failed to impress, although Injuries will not have helped his cause.

Meanwhile, Colombian goalkeeper Ospina is one of two shot-stoppers the Gunners want to sell before next season, with the 28-year-old feeling he is not trusted at the club, and there are rumours he could be on his way to Fenerbahce in Turkey, while Szczesny, Campbell and Gibbs are all said to have been marked as surplus to requirements.
